Chapter 7

The entirety of the next week Chris and Dale had sex every day, multiple times per day at that too.

Chris brought lube from home, which made his entrances easier and more pleasant for Dale. Dale got used to the feeling of a dick in his butt quickly and began to desire it more frequently.

He longed for the moments when Chris was inside him, when he was using him for pleasure, and then cumming on him and relaxing, content. Dale liked it that he was the source of pleasure for Chris.

As for his own pleasure, Chris wasn’t jerking him off to culmination, as he did the first time. So he had to take care of himself. But Dale didn’t really care about that. At that point, he was convinced Chris loved him. His kisses were so sweet, how could he not? Chris loved him! He must have! And Dale, of course, loved Chris back.

He was perfect! He was sweet, and gentle, and intelligent, and hot. And his dick was so big and so hard. Clearly, Chris thought Dale was hot too. There was no other way of looking at it!

Dale began to daydream about the future the two were going to have together, and how he would visit Chris in Seattle this fall, and maybe he’d even apply to the same school with Chris. They were going to be so happy! Dale was sure of it. There was no doubt in his mind.

They were going to have a perfect relationship, and it will last forever!

So strong were the feelings Dale had for Chris that most of his thoughts were about him, during the day and at nighttime too. He walked around in a daze of sorts, not noticing anything else, completely and utterly taken by Chris’s image, consumed by love.

So consumed that one day, walking down the trail in the forest, Dale didn’t notice a dead squirrel sprawled right there under his feet. He nearly stepped on it and kept walking.

Another time, Dale failed to notice a dead skunk in the underbrush.

And then again, two days later, he almost didn’t notice a group of five or six dead birds spread on the ground like sprinkled chocolate chips.

Dale only noticed them the last moment, jumped back and gasped. God! What the fuck was happening to the animals in that stupid forest?

Dale had no answer to that question. And he couldn’t distract himself from thoughts of Chris long enough to reach a mental conclusion. So he just stepped over the dead and kept walking.

After all, it wasn’t his problem the stupid birds died. It was their problem. And Dale had Chris, on his mind. And the only problem was that he constantly wanted more of him.

Chris’s darkening moods, his apathy and growing aloofness also slipped Dale’s attention. He himself was at the top of the world, in love, happy, and he thought that Chris felt exactly the same way. How could he not?

He sure had noticed something changed about Chris’s behavior, but he just waved it off, attributing it simply to weariness.
